Here is a snack that Stasia made for me while I was interviewing her. It has the suggested portions of the different food groups. Does it look palatable? Tasty?

What were all of the foods in there? I couldn't tell...it showed up a little fuzzy on my computer.

Sorry. That might just be the res. from YouTube. The veggies are broccoli, green beans, celery. You could have them with a little dip. The proteins are some sausage and cheese sticks. The grain is rice cakes with a little bit of nut butter and jelly.

Ah, okay...sounds good. Not many people have that before or after soccer practice though. It's so terrible that they're starting the habit of always having a snack after sports ("snack schedules") for kids. The snacks are always sugary with a sugary juice thing...totally defeats the purpose of excersising!
